How do I play?

Drag back and release to fire your volley, like a slingshot. You get one ball per level, and every ball this turn carries the element shown on the launcher. Breaking a block of a different element pops it. Breaking a block of the same element charges it instead: it lights up and its number becomes its power. When the balls are home, every charged block unleashes its element, and a burst that finishes off a block of its own element charges that one too. Don't let any block reach the floor.

What does each element do?

• Fire burns the 8 blocks around it.
• Water floods a 7-cell line along its fullest row or column.
• Earth quakes the whole lowest row.
• Air gusts into 1–2 random blocks.

I started aiming but changed my mind.

Slide your finger up past where you started and let go: the shot is cancelled.

The volley is taking forever.

After a few seconds the balls speed up, and a recall button appears under the board: tap it to bring every ball home. The damage they've done so far counts.

Which ball comes next?

The marble in the small cup in the corner under the board is the next turn's element, so you can plan ahead.

Is my game saved?

Yes. Close the app any time and it picks up where you left off, paused. Your best score and level are saved too. Everything is kept on your device only, so deleting the app deletes your progress and best score.

Sound, music and vibration

Sound, music and haptics each have their own switch, on the title screen and in the pause menu. The game follows your iPhone's silent switch, and if you're already listening to music from another app, the game keeps its own music off so yours keeps playing.

Languages

Element Pop speaks English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Turkish and Simplified Chinese, and follows your device's language. To play in another of these languages, change your iPhone's language for the app in Settings › Element Pop › Language.

Does it need the internet?

No. Element Pop plays fully offline.
